Vision Wins Two Bids in China Mobile’s 2027–2028 Lead-Acid Battery Procurement

Vision Group has been named a successful bidder for two major product categories in China Mobile’s 2027–2028 centralized procurement project for lead-acid batteries, covering Class I Lead-Acid Batteries and High-Power Lead-Acid Batteries, with a total contract value of approximately USD 60 million, including battery racks, transportation and related costs.

This marks the eighth consecutive year that Vision has been selected for China Mobile’s centralized procurement programs of the same category, reflecting the company’s long-term technical capabilities, product reliability and competitiveness in the telecom power sector.

Supporting Critical Telecom Infrastructure

China Mobile’s 2027–2028 procurement program is a group-level initiative designed to meet the backup power requirements of its telecommunications infrastructure. The batteries will support critical applications including 5G base stations and data centers, where stable and reliable backup power is essential for uninterrupted operations.

In this procurement, Vision secured a 10.53% share for Class I Lead-Acid Batteries and a 14.04% share for High-Power Lead-Acid Batteries.
