A Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) system is a critical maritime management platform that uses radar, communications, and monitoring technologies to ensure safe and efficient vessel navigation. Zhuhai VTS is a system established by the competent authority and managed by the Zhuhai Maritime Safety Administration. It monitors and controls vessel traffic and provides information services to enhance maritime safety, maintain traffic order, improve efficiency, and protect the water environment. Its radar stations and central control enable real-time monitoring, communication, and management, making it essential for the safe and efficient operation of Zhuhai’s port waters.
Customer Demand
The Zhuhai VTS radar station’s unique operating environment placed higher demands on the UPS and battery systems. Installed in a semi-elevated, space-constrained machine room, the power system needed to be highly reliable, compact, and easy to maintain.

After careful communication and evaluation of the client's needs, Vision delivered a fully integrated UPS lithium-ion system, in combination with a Schneider SYPX UPS. The all-in-one cabinet integrates lithium-ion batteries, lightning protection, precision power distribution, infrastructure monitoring, a battery management system (BMS), and fire protection, providing a one-stop solution that meets all the client’s requirements.
