From Passive Backup to Active Load Smoothing
During the convention, Vision Battery delivered a presentation titled “Powering AI Data Centers: Managing Dynamic AI Workloads,” examining AIDC power requirements and solutions, and sharing insights into the shift from passive backup to active load smoothing.

The presentation outlined three elements of an end-to-end AIDC power solution: AIDC-specific UPS provides high-rate discharge capability engineered for AI transients, forming the core of dynamic load smoothing; HVDC & BBU integrates high-voltage direct current architecture with battery backup units to form the power backbone; and BESS provides a buffer through large-scale, utility-level peak shaving to address regional grid constraints and bottlenecks.
Power Solutions for Evolving AI Demands
Vision Battery continues to expand its power supply and backup portfolio to address the high density, high power demand and dynamic workloads of AI data centers. Showcased at the event, the REVO 3.0 AIDC LFP Battery Backup Power System combines high-power output with a compact design to support high-density deployment, with safety backed by testing.
In September, REVO 3.0 completed the world’s first indoor large-scale fire test (LSFT). Under the specified test conditions, it met all three core criteria: no fire propagation to adjacent cabinets, building-structure temperature rise within specified limits, and an intact and effective system fire-protection boundary. These results provide test evidence to support customers’ deployment safety assessments and fire-protection design.
As AI computing grows, the power infrastructure supporting it must continue to evolve. Vision Battery will continue to advance product development and technical validation around AIDC power density, dynamic workloads and system safety, supporting AI infrastructure development with safe, reliable and efficient power supply and backup solutions.
