Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Mianping Zheng and Suping Peng, Chairman Baosheng Liu of China Battery Industry Association, and Zhenbo Song, member of the Standing Committee of the Zibo Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and vice mayor of Zibo Municipal People’s Government attended the inaugural meeting. Vision Group, as one of the initiators of the "Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Branch" and the executive vice chairman unit, was invited to participate in the inauguration ceremony.

The conference introduced the background of the establishment of the " Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Branch", working regulations, organizational structure, etc., and expounded the main work directions and key work arrangements in the future.

The establishment of the “Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Branch of the China Battery Industry Association” will be of great significance for promoting the national level to increase investment in fuel cell R&D, issuing corresponding support policies, and formulating clear mid- and long-term industrial development plans. It will also help Promote multi-party cooperation in the field of domestic hydrogen energy and fuel cell production, learning, research, and use, and further promote innovative technologies and industrial applications in this field.

At the "2021 Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology and Application International Summit" held at the same time, Huanong Zhang , chairman of Vision Group, was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech.

Huanong Zhang said: Under the background of "dual carbon", the hydrogen energy industry has obvious advantages in development, but challenges and opportunities coexist. For example, the industrial chain is long and involves a wide range of areas. But we are confident to seize opportunities and meet challenges. This stems from Vision HydraV's long-term R&D investment and scientific layout in the industrial chain. With the application of Vision HydraV’s fuel cells in multiple scenarios such as passenger cars, trucks, and construction machinery vehicles, the process of industrial commercialization is constantly being promoted.

Hydrogen fuel cell is the core development strategy of Vision Group. Vision HydraV has completed the key links of hydrogen production, membrane electrodes, fuel cell stacks, fuel cell engine systems, and vehicle operation in the hydrogen energy industry chain. At the same time, the company has independently invested in research and development in various fields such as low-load platinum catalysts, membrane electrodes, and aluminum hydrogen production, and has achieved initial results.

At present, Vision HydraV's fuel cell engine system covers two series, VISH and VISTAH, and the power covers 52-130kW. It has been matched with 20 fuel cell buses, 40 fuel cell trucks/chassis and 4 application models in the field of construction machinery, which entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announcement catalog currently, 240 fuel cell vehicles including buses, heavy trucks, and logistics have been put into demonstration operation, with an operating mileage of more than 10 million kilometers, and another 70 fuel cell vehicles are being delivered.

The first generation of A1 stacks with independent intellectual property rights has been commercialized by Vision Senergy this year, Vision Senergy’s stack technology will reach a new level, and the latest 50-100kW A2 series stacks will be released with volumetric power density 4.0kW/L, and the J series stacks with high power greater than 150kW will be released.

Vision Group will join hands with members of the Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Branch of the China Battery Industry Association and upstream and downstream partners in the industry to explore the world of hydrogen energy, help achieve the dual-carbon goal, and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
