On October 19, the "high-end forum on the development of hydrogen energy industry under the background of carbon peak and carbon neutralization", guided by China Association for Science and Technology and hosted by China Petrochemical Corporation, opened in Qingpu District, Shanghai.

China's 14th five year plan clearly proposes to organize and implement future industry incubation and acceleration plans in several cutting-edge science and technology and industrial transformation fields, including hydrogen energy and energy storage, and plan to layout a number of future industries.

Mingbo Chen said that hydrogen energy is not only an important starting point for achieving carbon peak and carbon neutralization, but also a major direction for energy structure adjustment and industrial transformation and upgrading.

During the forum, through video connection, the guests witnessed the completion of Sinopec Shanghai Petroleum Qingwei oil and hydrogen joint construction station, the first oil and hydrogen joint construction station with 35 / 70 MPa filling capacity in Shanghai.
