First Hydrogen's hydrogen-powered Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) has demonstrated outstanding performance in a test by Rivus, travelling 742 miles in 47 hours, it has learned. This four-week trial was completed on different routes to provide data on the vehicle's performance under different conditions.
The vehicles were emptied and loaded to 90 per cent of their maximum weight capacity and travelled 311 miles on a 10.3kg hydrogen fuel tank. Hydrogen fuel cells are used more for some types of travel and less for others.
